Smartphone: Smartphone is like other cellular devices but having some extra features.Smartphone provides instant access to web as well as having the ability to send and receive e-mail and edit Microsoft office documents.A smartphone have an operating system that allows it to run productivity applications.Some of operating systems that are used in Smartphone are Nokia Symbian,Google Android,Microsoft Windows Phone 7, apple ios (Operating System) and Research in motion Blackberry Operating System etc.These operating system can be installed on many different cellular devices.They can run third-party application using an application programming interface.Many of the best features of Smartphone are following as:
- Smartphone runs on Operating System like Nokia Symbian,Google Android and apple ios.
- Smartphone has many extra software like Microsoft office and Adobe.
- Smartphone provides the quick access to Internet.We can search our favorite websites on Smartphone.
- Some Smartphone have QWERTY keypad.QWERTY keypad is like our computer keyboard having the facility of fast typing speed.
- Smartphone also provides the facility to send and receive e-mail.Some smartphone may have multiple email accounts.
History of Smartphone: First smartphone was launched by IBM in 1992 with name of IBM Simon.
